آؤ آداس لوگو ! محفل لگاتے ہیں
خیال یار میں نیند کا تصور کیسا
آنکھ لگتی ہی نہیں جب سے ہے آنکھ لگی
اب تو کچھ بھی یاد نہیں ہے
ہم نے تم کو چاہا ہوگا
زخم ہی تیرا مقدر ہیں دل تجھ کو کون سنبھالے گا
اے میرے بچپن کے ساتھی میرے ساتھ ہی مر جانا
سب ستارے دلاسہ دیتے ہیں
چاند راتوں کو چیختا ہے بہت
درد دل کیا بیاں کروں رشکیؔ
اس کو کب اعتبار آتا ہے
شام ہجراں بھی اک قیامت تھی
آپ آئے تو مجھ کو یاد آیا
ہم نے بهی ذندگی گزاری تهی.
عشق ہونے سے عشق کهونے تک.
مسکراہٹ کی بات کرتے ہو
جی رہا ہوں یہی غنیمت ہے.
محبت کیا ھے اہل علم جانیں
ہمیں عادت تمہاری ہو گئی ھے
میں سفید جوڑا پہنوں گا جس دن
اک خلقت اُداس ہوگی اُس دن
جب بھی یہ دل اداس ہوتا ہے
جانے کون آس پاس ہوتا ہے
میرے حصّے کا تم مسکرایا کرو
میں شہزادہ ہوں اُداس فرقے کا
زندگی کیا ہے آج اسے اے دوست
سوچ لیں اور اداس ہو جائیں
